The Dai people mostly live at the Manyangguang Holy Hill. Dai language has almost 80% similarity to Thai language. The Dai people rely on the forest to make a living and to build houses. However, they have only used 5 or 6 great wood species out of more than 20, i.e., Gemlina Arborea.
