Near the forest in Miwsake, a region located in the southwest of Cameroon, there are several smoking pits made for charcoal making. The 39-year-old charcoal maker Kwedi Martin has learned the skills from his friends 5 years ago. To obtain the material, he insists on chopping down no living trees, but collecting abandoned tree trunks.
