Established in 2003, Cairngorms National Park is the largest national park in the British Isles. Instead of legitimately owned by the Park Authority, the Cairngorms National Park has a multiple ownership and belongs to a group of individuals, charities, government agencies and businesses. There is annually an estimated 1.5 million visitors, and which brings an economic boost to the Park, and on top of that, the well-organized landscape management and a great portion of plantations intended for timber production, wood industry, and joinery manufactory also facilitate the economic growth in a tremendous way. In fact, the Park itself never stops developing, and while visitors enjoy the spectacular landscape and wildlife, culture, and tranquillity, they witness the sustainability of the Park at the same time.
