Round 1 is the first and only studio album by Piqua, OH synth-country (Yes, you are reading that right) duo The Main Event. This album is awful. It is a monument to man's hubris, an eternal reminder that we are all fallible mortals etched on plastic. I feel as if my very soul has been sucked from my body and discarded into the San Francisco bay, leaving me without the luster for life I once carried what feels like ever-longer ago. Despite the cover, this is NOT a glam, hard-rock, or metal album. I was deceived too. Suffer with me, if you feel you must. It's time for the main event.
