Three extremely rare authentic transcriptions from some underappreciated big-band/sweet-band artists of the time.
This record was published on an unknown date. Sound quality is variable, given the different dates of recording. All were performed at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel in New York City, and are off-air recordings(?) likely from an NBC affiliate.
This recording has been mildly altered, in that I have applied low-pass filters to each individual performance in order to reduce noise. Keep in mind these may be the only surviving recordings of full concerts from these groups.
There are some small gaps in the recording sometimes, these are present on the record too for example at 18:36. I don't know why, these could be either the transcription disc being changed, edits done by the mastering department, or even NBC themselves cutting the audio.
