Presenting... is the first and only studio album by the Austintown, OH school group The 1978-79 Austintown Frank Ohl Bands. This album's kind of weird. It's covers, predictably, but really weird choices, everything from movie themes to Paul McCartney to commercial jingles and of course Greensleeves because why not. This thing wasn't even on Discogs until I bought it for $1.50 at a Goodwill in Boardman. The quality of the performances varies, some are done exceptionally well (Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind) and others (such as St. James Infirmary) are messy, unrecognizable bastardizations of the original pieces. No vocals on this album. This isn't Langley Schools Music Project, though that would be cool. Back side of cover is blank. Funnily enough this uses the same font as that "Can't Stop Singing About Jesus" album.
Please note, the first section of Cousteau's Underwater World was recorded at 78RPM and slowed down in order to correct a skip. This caused an unavoidable loss of high end in this portion, but it is not particularly damaging.
First side is 7th and 8th grade band. Second side is 6th grade band and 7th-8th grade band.
