The Leitrim Way is a hiking trail with bags of potential and was unfinished when I walked it.

From calming canal walking to hill views of the beautiful Lough Allen, this trail takes you through some very friendly little Irish villages.

As it was unfinished, sadly I had a fair bit of road walking but I didn't mind that so much as I really enjoyed it as a whole.

This is the 11th section of The Ireland Way and one that will so be fully completed as it has now officially opened.
