In this video, I am using ZBrush to sculpt a character from scratch. In fact, in this series, we will be working on the character named Mr. Arata from beginning to End. If you catch me on the live stream, you can even participate in making design decisions. Mr. Arata is a creation made by contributions from all of you.
At this point, Mr. Arata is a Magician who tries to get dragons under his control. He needs their power to take revenge against the king who is to blame for his wife's death. His wife was a demon... This is how far we got. Can't wait to get your ideas :)

![[Part 38/ 40] Anime Character 3D Modeling Tutorial II - Scarf
This video is the 38th part of 40 in this very detailed tutorial series about modeling. Ill take you through all the steps of anime style character creation in the 3d software called Blender and without any time lapse.
If you havent watched it already make sure to go through part 0! In that video Ill show you the final result and tell you all about the modifications I did with my version of Blender. Also youll find the references in the description of that video.
By the way, the character design was made by the creators of Sword Art Online and all credit goes to them. Im using it as an example to teach how to work with real characters as youd find them in any animation.

![How to Draw Ellipses [Cylinders & Spheres] Accurately - Construction Techniques
In my recent studies about drawing I learned that my way of drawing ellipses was very inaccurate. I ended up spending many hours on learning how to draw these shapes more accurately. Eventually I would want to use Ellipses to construct cylinders, spheres and even more complex objects, from various angles. The techniques that I will show you in this video are the ones I found to be the most effective and useful. I even suggest my own technique at the very end that makes the construction a bit simpler and time efficient. I hope you can gain something from watching this video. If you have any questions feel free to ask me in the comments. Thank you for watching!

This is an animation project I worked on for school about three years ago. Ive never considered it to be very interesting but looking back, it was quite fun to make. I hope this inspires you to start your own project.

![[#03] [Uncut] Anime Character 3D Modeling Tutorial 2020 – Cloth Sculpting
This video is the third uncut and real time video of my anime character 3d modeling tutorial series without commentary.
You can find the edited and commented version here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qGMGXF2lVg
In this episode I am working on the cloth for my character. I am using the blockout from the first part as my base, and blend the shapes with some additional details to create a draft for now. I am also working on the legs in this part. All in all, this gives us a nice representation of what the character is going to be when complete.
I hope that this video is useful to you as always, but if you have any questions, definitely let me know in the comments!
