In my recent studies about drawing I learned that my way of drawing ellipses was very inaccurate. I ended up spending many hours on learning how to draw these shapes more accurately. Eventually I would want to use Ellipses to construct cylinders, spheres and even more complex objects, from various angles. The techniques that I will show you in this video are the ones I found to be the most effective and useful. I even suggest my own technique at the very end that makes the construction a bit simpler and time efficient. I hope you can gain something from watching this video. In this episode I am working on the cloth for my character. I am using the blockout from the first part as my base, and blend the shapes with some additional details to create a draft for now. I am also working on the legs in this part. All in all, this gives us a nice representation of what the character is going to be when complete.
