Most know that I often stress the advantages of building a smaller railroad if you want to achieve the goals we all have in this great hobby. If you bite off more than you can chew, and most do, you will most likely burn-out. The fun is in the actual planning & building a manageable layout, and being able to run your favorite trains now-and-again in the process.
