Last week’s stream was about my concerns for America, a country I have a lot of affection for, and it sparked a lot of thoughtful conversation. Since then, the news has only added to that uneasy feeling, as I decide whether or not to visit later this year.
Rather than only talking about it as someone watching from the UK, I wanted someone in the States to help ground the conversation in what it actually feels like on the inside.
So I’m joined by Ciera Foster (actor, author, producer, and podcast host) to talk about the importance of speaking out. Not just online, but in all the other ways that matter too. Amplifying voices, contacting representatives, supporting organisations, having hard conversations, and figuring out how to show up without burning out.
