There’s nothing quite like a dark stairwell to remind me how terrible I am at handling horror in VR. SCP-087 is simple on paper: just keep walking down the stairs. But, it’s the anticipation, the sounds, and the feeling that something is always waiting just out of sight that really gets under my skin.
This is pure psychological horror, stripped back and deeply unsettling. No jumpscares needed… though I’m sure I’ll find a few reasons to scream anyway.
Let’s see how far I can make it before the fear wins…
