In this video, I collect the Moon "The Ice Wall Barrier" without using the Left Stick. When entering Shiveria Town, I first roll forward to the Shiverian. I talk to that Shiverian to change the direction Mario is facing. Now I do it again so I'm facing the Room I want to go in, and then I dive to get to the room. When In the room, I get hit on purpose by the Chomping Dudes to change the direction. I do this for every Moon Shard, I also die on purpose after some Moon Shards to get back to the beginning of the room. When I collected all the Moon Shards, I line myself up to go exactly to the wall that I need to climb. I Walljump off that wall to make it easier to climb the rest. At the Moon, I roll on the small slopes from the Moon Plate to change the direction I'm facing again. I repeat this a couple times until I can collect the Moon.

UPDATE: Its been a while since this video has been uploaded, and after a lot of discoveries the limit has been brought down to just 3 captures (The first Cap Kingdom Pylon, the Ruined Pylon and the Bowser capture).
This video shows all the Remaining Captures that are required to beat the game (any%) There is a small difference in the amount of the captures depending on the Version you are playing on. In 1.0 and 1.1 you can beat the game in just 13 Captures, but in 1.2 it takes 14 Captures because there was a trick that was used to get infinite height in earlier Versions, which was patched out in 1.2.
