Today I am very happy to shed some light onto one of my absolutely favorite Harry Potter categories and definitely the one I enjoy the most when it comes to the first game of the series: Glitchless! Because not only does this category get a lot closer to a normal and nostalgic childhood playthrough without any gamebreaking Glitches like Any%, it still has a ton of really nice strategies that I am honestly thrilled to show off! So many areas that we usually don't get to see in Any% are just really worth a visit and it's nice to remember how they looked properly since we don't get to see them in most runs anymore, stuff like that really does take me back all the way to childhood!
And on top of that it was certainly this categories turn for me to make some improvements in! For people that do not know, I am still chasing the goal and pipedream to have a Top 10 position on every single Harry Potter main game Leaderboard there is! And for Glitchless I was certainly quite far off that before picking up this category properly and learning some strats to build consistency and to finally push my time in it down! And this little compilation of two runs along that journey should give you a pretty good glimpse into me learning and improving in this category which is hopefully interesting and, at least for fellow speedrunners, motivation to watch!
I really hope you are going to enjoy this video and the Glitchless Category as much as I do and that you are going to get a nice nostalgic childhood flashback from this playthrough and some of the areas!
