Switch Leg Reverse Lunges. Because you change legs at the BOTTOM, and take tension fully off the entire lower body, you're essentially doing a "bottom start" lunge on every rep.
This really keeps you honest by not allowing you to use ANY elastic tension out of the bottom.
The bottom start hits the glutes strongly, and brings in the quads and hamstrings nicely.

I'm using a pair of kettlebells here, but you can use dumbbells or even a barbell on your back as well (that's a bit more balance-intensive).
To do it, you'll start at the top, step back with one leg (reverse lunge) then at the bottom, switch legs.
You'll bring the other leg down and kneel on both knees, then swing your original back leg around and set it in front to push up from that position.
The repeat the cycle, stepping back with the leg you just brought forward. This allows you to work both legs equally very easily.
