Amongst the marsh grass, we found a wonderful spot to spend the night. Probably the nicest anchorage so far. The new Danforth anchor held strong, the experimental, diy snubber softened the tug of the rode, and the weather cooperated, giving a peaceful rest overnight under a starlit sky. Before sunset, the dogs and I played on a deserted island. It was a short day of travel, long with joy. Why couldn't everyday be like this?
