Join me on Nia (Thursday) August 31 at 2:30PM Eastern time at the Mbongi as we discuss the rendering of the placename Km.t from the Kahun papyrus, which has the word written with the classifiers of the seated man and woman. We will introduce the proper way to read the determinatives/classifiers based on the grammar of the writing script. This will give us a clue on how to interpret this rare form of the name Km.t found in the Kahun papyrus (pLondon UC 32157) of the XII Dynastic period. So please bookmark your calendars, like, and share this link with friends and colleagues.
