Asar Imhotep | Addressing Kamjiverse and Kambon on the issue of reconstruction @AsarImhotep | Uploaded 8 months ago | Updated May 12 2024
Join me on Ujamaa (Wedesday) September 13th at 9:00PM Eastern time at the Mbongi as we address a conversation that a brother by the name of 'Kamjiverse' had on a recent program of his, which talked about 'reconstructing' the ancient Egyptian language before including it in comparative studies. This was a claim argued by Dr. Obadele Kambon in critique of Jean-Claude Mboli and his text Origine des langues africaines: Essai d'application de la méthode comparative aux langues africaines anciennes et modernes (2010). We've addressed this issue before, but since it was brought up again recently, it warrants reiteration of the fact that this claim is false. So please bookmark your calendars, like, and share this link with friends and colleagues.
