For Reisen's material you can bring a helper, but since this takes place in a party split dungeon you can't change your lineup right in front of the quest monster which is a bit annoying. I always bring Mokou to this fight since both of the opposition are weak to fire. Bamboo Monster can increase its all stat like its mob variant and the rabbit has instant death inflicting physicals, but you can scorch the bamboo and berserk the rabbit so it's not a big deal.
