The third week of August would see some big name locomotives in action on seprate steam tours throughout England. Due to work commitments I wasn't able to cover these events in full but we still managed to capture a few scenes of each individual exucursions. All engines were in fine form and sounding very well especially Braunton and Flying Scotsman with Clan Line seen motoring along nicely. Mayflower also made a rare appearance north of London which was much welcomed. Locations are captioned in video and below with the name of the excursions. I hope you enjoy the late summer action.


In order of appearance

S.R 34046 'Braunton' On The White Rose, seen on Cowburn Bank, High Peak of Derbyshire

S.R 35028 'Clan Line' On the Cotswold Venturer, seen at Worton and Fawler (Oxfordshire) and on the return at Besford (Worcestershire)

LNER 60103 'Flying Scotsman' On The Waverley, seen at Barkston Ash and Huddlestone Grange (Yorkshire)

LNER 61306 'Mayflower' On a Steam Dreams excursion to Stratford Upon Avon, seen at Warwick Parkway, Hatton and Wilmocte (Warwickshire)
