Some injuries happen through bad luck, in a way that's outside of your control. Some happen through a momentary lapse in judgment. But sometimes it's sheer stupidity. Especially at a young age.
These two examples fortunately did not result in serious injuries. Although they easily could have... they involved sharp and/or pointy objects (big surprise, eh?).
