I review the preservation master created for the Kino Lorber BLu-ray release of the delightfully wondrous poverty row horror film, THE DEVIL BAT. This film remains quite possibly the most charming and delightful of Bela Lugosi's poverty row horror films. It never fails to charm an audience and now finally has a watchable frequently good looking version after decades of horrible public domain video transfers. This is topped off by a lovely Richard Harland Smith commentary.
An absolute MUST own release for this long neglected film.
