Last year the CMC debate session made some waves. Delegates to the conference made it clear that working in the children’s media production sector was now unsustainable for too many businesses, particularly those who wanted to create new, UK-cultural content.
The Children’s Media Summit that emerged from the CMC Debate made it clear that we need to stop fighting for a 20th century PSB system that has no relevance to our audience. To coin a phrase, ‘We need to go where children are watching!’ But what does that mean in practice?
