iZeeker GD100: https://dreki.tech/gd100 || This camera is cheap and it records video, but I still recommend buying the Viofo A119 Mini 2 instead: https://dreki.tech/a119-mini2 || This is what I would consider the "bare minimum" for a dashcam. It turns on, records video and turns off. Some license plates are readable but rarely. The colour and white balance is not great. But it does do the thing.

I would recommend the Viofo A119 Mini 2. Yes it is more money, but it's worth it to save up for the peace of mind. If you're going to buy a cheap camera like this because it's the absolute maximum of your budget, make sure to check it frequently to ensure that it's still recording and has not silently failed.
