To be fair, samples converted directly out of SJCam's app then uploaded to Youtube without going through the video editor will be a bit better than what you see as single channel here. But that being said, it's a pain in the butt to do this. Why doesn't the camera do the stitching itself? Why didn't SJCam include 4K capable hardware? :(
This camera has a nice form factor and decent usability (apart from the whole conversion thing), but wow 1080p is nowhere near enough resolution for true 360.
I haven't tested the Mijia yet but samples I have seen are better and it doesn't cost a ton more at the time of review...
