I haven't reviewed a dash cam for a while since I didn't really have a reason to - I had found my perfect match in the A119. Then I saw this, advertising a Sony sensor and on a flash deal for under $50 Canadian. I thought that was too good to be true!
At its regular price of $75 CAD it is still pretty competitive (at least, from a video quality perspective). Build quality is so-so, as expected for this price. Unfortunately it is battery based - that's the big trade off. But I think it'll find a home in one of my parents cars, since they don't go through too much in the way of temperature extremes.
Also the user manual on this camera is just terrible.
My editing for the intro on this one wasn't very good, sorry.
