The Firefly 7S is an inexpensive camera that I would consider more of a "starter" type cam. From my testing the 8S has better video quality and it beeps louder. The 7S does has decent video quality overall but it has the traditional "Novatek Blue" color tone in daylight and it does not do real 4K.
The price on the 7S has come down a lot since I first started producing this video so I can see the value in the camera, but at its original price of ~$90 USD I would recommend just spending the extra on the 8S
