Season 4 is the most controversial season of The Boondocks, and while it's for good reason, the discourse surrounding it has felt really tired for a while now. The reduction of its flaws to the absence of a singular individual, to the debatable nature of that absence to begin with and what exactly contributed to Season 4 feeling as hollow and empty as it did.

Let's have an honest conversation about Season 4 and join me in my slightly narcissistic, self-indulgent attempt to address some of its flaws in the process.
