I’ve been wild camping and doing pub stops for a while, so today was chore day. Cassette needed emptying, water needed filling, rubbish needed dumping, and the grey tank needed sorting. Proper glamorous van life stuff. I headed to Conkers Camping and Caravanning Club Site to try one of their motorhome service stops, and for £7.65 it’s honestly a bargain & a game changer!

After that I went hunting for LPG, found some at Appleby Caravan Storage for £1 a litre, then swung by Costco in Coventry for cheaper diesel, supplies, Pepsi Max, and obviously a hot dog because that’s basically the law.

I finished the day parked up in Hemel Hempstead, cooked a mushroom omelette on my new induction hob, survived the boy racers, and had a decent night’s sleep.

If you’re on the road full-time, doing long trips, or just worried about toilets, water, waste and LPG, this one should help.
