I spent a budget weekend exploring Salisbury in the motorhome, staying at a cheap campsite and visiting the cathedral, market and Old Sarum.

This weekend I’m at the Salisbury Camping and Caravanning Club site the weather is absolutely roasting. I got parked up, tried to keep the Land Yacht cool, found a pizza van on site, and made the most of a proper cheap grass pitch deal.

I headed into Salisbury for a proper look around. Visiting the market, found a banging hog roast, went up Salisbury Cathedral on the tower tour, saw the Magna Carta, wandered around the old streets, found Pokémon bits, grabbed some fudge, and stopped for a cold drink in The Haunch of Venison, one of Britain’s oldest pubs, talk about a packed day, I walked my little legs off!

Sunday I opted for a bit of a chill one, grabbing the bike and heading up to Old Sarum to see where the original cathedral once stood before heading back to the site, firing up the Lotus Grill BBQ, rude not to right!
