Left the Land Yacht for the night to test a French bed campervan at a pub stop in the UK

Left the Land Yacht behind at Oak Tree and jumped into a smaller Auto-Sleeper for the night just to see what it’s actually like living with a French bed layout. Headed off to a pub stop to meet up with @GadgetJohnAdventures & @unadventurousmandy for a long overdue catchup and had a proper look around this little “studio apartment on wheels”.
I walk you through the van, show you the layout, and talk honestly about what works and what doesn’t. We head into the pub for some food, have a good catch up, and I chat through why pub stops are one of the easiest ways to get started with wild camping if you’ve never done it before.
Next morning I give you my full thoughts after sleeping in it, plus things get a bit interesting with a heater issue and Mandy dropping some big news about her new motorhome. If you’ve ever looked at a French bed layout or thought about trying pub stops, this will give you a proper feel for it.
