How to wrap your hands for boxing the right way, and the mistakes that most beginners make that can seriously damage your hands over time. Tony Jeffries, Olympic medalist boxer, learned this the hard way and shows you exactly what not to do and how to do it correctly.
Tony started boxing at 10 with no one showing him how to wrap his hands for boxing, and those bad habits eventually led to a hand injury that ended his career. He has a 3-inch scar across each knuckle to show for it.
Tony goes through the full hand wrapping process and points out where most people go wrong at every step, from how they create the knuckle padding, to how they wrap the wrist and thumb, to how they finish it off. Most people think they are wrapping correctly but small mistakes at each stage mean the wrap is doing very little by the time the glove is on, and Tony shows exactly what to fix.
