✨️ This is just the very beginning of Round 3 out of 7 because otherwise the video would have been too long, so I will share the other half of this round tomorrow where we actually start the stitching. Follow along each day for all of the parts or check out my Terran series, #elkccycc_terran
✨️ While you can work in the more traditional way of pulling the new color through in the last yarn over of the previous stitch (and I do still use this technique sometimes), I find that doing so in this manner can distort the fabric and disrupt the color change.
❤️ For the most seamless color change, after joining the round as normal, yarn over and pull through with the new color, then pull the original color tight, and it will disappear.
✨️ As you work, the original color may pop up until it's secured down later, so simply give the strand a tug, and it will disappear again.
🧶 For this square, I am using Lion Brand Pound of Love that we carry in our yarn shop, YarnCraftsandCoffee.com, and a H8/5mm crochet hook that I custom ordered from SiennasBowtique on Etsy, but you can use any yarn with the respective size crochet hook.
