Mario's Journal:
Day 11
When we made it to Toad Town, we heard someone scream. It was Fice T. the guard posted at Forever Forest. He said that he saw a ghost. I think I saw it out of the corner of my eye. We decided to go slightly into Forever Forest to see if there really was a ghost.
I'm not a fan of ghosts, but if any are trying to enter Toad Town, I'll have to take care of that. The ghost appeared as the trees grew thicker. He told us that his master sent him to invite us to Boo's Mansion at the end of Forever Forest. His master has news of the Star Spirits. He disappeared after spooking us.
I want to wait for Twink, but if the ghost is right that his master knows about the Star Spirits...well we don't have a choice. It's unwise to turn down an invitation from a ghost.
A creature named Oaklie tried to stop us from entering the forest since it's too dangerous, but I told him that we had been invited to Boo's Mansion. Oaklie let us pass, but he told us to watch our surroundings carefully if we were to get through the forest without getting lost.
There was something different about each part of the forest and the path near that was the path we had to take. The forest was scary, but what might have scared us the most was the bub-ulb we accidentally ran into. The poor guy was just blooming when Bombette tripped on him and screamed. We all jumped into action and scared the bub-ulb. I apologized to him, but he understood since we were in the middle of a spooky forest. He gave us a magic seed. We have three now (I failed to mention the one that Parakarry noticed on Mt. Rugged). I don't know why, but I still feel that these seeds are going to be very important.
We saw a tall mansion at the very edge of the forest. The ghost was there to greet us. He told us to go to the third floor of the mansion where we will meet his master. She'll tell us everything.
