Seagulls Gather | The BEST (and the WORST) of the Discworld Series? @SeagullsGather | Uploaded July 2022 | Updated October 2024, 22 hours ago.
In this video I look at the best book in Terry Pratchett's Discworld series - as voted by the reviewers on goodreads. I also consider the worst book, decided by the same criteria and the age old question of 'where should you start' with the series.
Goodreads' best book is Night Watch, the 29th book in the series and the sixth book to follow Sam Vines and the Ankh-Morpork police. Vines travels in time and must mentor his younger self in order to save the city from a serial killer.
The worst book, by their criteria, is the 9th book Eric (or Faust) in which a young boy summons a demon but gets stuck with Rincewind the wizard instead. His three wishes do not work out as planned, do they ever?
