Seagulls Gather | Solo (aka The Cretan Lover) by Jack Higgins @SeagullsGather | Uploaded October 2021 | Updated October 2024, 22 hours ago.
My review of the 1980 thriller 'Solo' by Jack Higgins. This novel would later be released under the name 'The Cretan Lover'. The titular character is pianist John Mikali who also works as a KGB hitman. Mikali kills the daughter of Asa Morgan in a hit and run, leading to a showdown between the two men. This was the 40th novel from Higgins whose other books include The Eagle has Landed, Nightof the Fox and On Dangerous Ground.
