I did a video for this song quite a ways back. Having learned more about the recording of this song since that time, I decided it was due for an update. I also decided to have the great guitar work of @sampopkin on this one.

This track was recorded on September 23rd and 24th 1968, about two weeks after Ringo received his new Thermogloss Hollywood configuration Ludwig kit. After going back and listening to the isolated drum track, it’s clear that Ringo is utilizing three toms with the 12 and 13 being more open and the floor tom treated with a tea towel.

This is not only a favorite song of mine from the White Album but a favorite Beatles track period. Hope you enjoy!
