The "Alaska" cocktail, which comes from the "Savoy Cocktail" book, is such an easy to make sipper, you can't pass this up. The flavor from the Yellow Chartreuse is very subtle but well balanced with the Gin. Simple, complex and easy to make, this is a perfect cocktail to enjoy as a Martini substitute.
Ingredients include:
45 mil/1.5 oz Gin
15 mil/.5 oz Yellow Chartreuse
1-2 Dashes of Orange Bitters
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass
Stir with ice for 20 seconds
Serve "up" in a chilled cocktail glass.
