Any way you slice it, NYC is in the midst of a HUGE bike boom!
The last month I've been making notes of plenty of data that supports this, though if you live anywhere in NYC you already can see in with your eyes and read anecdotes daily from amazed riders all over Twitter.
So I decided a quick montage compilation was in order. Keep in mind, these numbers are even more incredible considering the absence of office commutes and tourism! And might I add: NYC DOT has kept a consistent standard for measuring bike travel in NYC that many of us feel could be improved to pick up non-Manhattan commutes and neighborhood use.
