The Thailand Golden Fringe Tarantula, Ornithoctonus aureotibilias is a tarantula species native to Southern Thailand and is heavily soaked after in the pet trade. Luckily this species is relatively easy to breed in captivity and poaching of wild populations have decreased rapidly. The Thai Golden Fringe lives in deep burrows of about 30 to 40cm deep in the tropical rainforest at temperatures around 23 degree celsius inside its burrow. Make sure you provide a lot of substrate / soil when you keep this species in your collection, it would love to build a deep burrow as you've just saw in the video - with a nicely decorated entrance when you provide some leaf litter.
