Sri Lanka, the land of Poecilotheria! In this video we see the Ivory Ornamental Tree Spider, Poecilotheria subfusca, a old world tarantula with medical significant venom, that we found in the central highlands of the country! Poecilotheria subfusca is the scientific name of this smallest of all Poecilotheria species and its furthermore endemic to Sri Lanka.
