Searching for tarantulas in the wild is always a lot of fun! This time you'll see us looking for wild tarantulas in the tropics of Colombia, South America. The group of Pumpkin Patch Tarantulas from the genus Hapalopus is quite outstanding with several species mainly living in Colombia and Venezuela - despite the fact that most of these Hapalopus tarantula species are readily bred by tarantula enthusiast all over the world.

During this single day of exploring the surroundings for tarantulas in the wild we managed to find three different tarantula species - watch the video to learn more about them!
