Ninja Spirit 1990 Activision
Ported from Irem's 1988 arcade side-scrolling hack-and-slash action game.The game features horizontally scrolling levels packed with enemies, platforming sections, and a variety of weapons to master: katana for close combat, shuriken for ranged attacks, bombs, and the signature chain-and-sickle.
The messy graphics significantly let the game down, they frequently blend into the backgrounds, making it hard to distinguish what the hell is going on.
This is another example where they should have reduced all the background junk allowing you to concentrate on the game action.
