U.S. Gold's port of Sega's arcade classic Outrun raced (if a little slowly) onto the Spectrum back in '87 and people have moaned and grumbled ever since.
Not even a packaged "Magical Sound Shower" cassette type could win our hearts over. Converting this to the Spectrum was never going to be an easy task, and as an Outrun fan I've always looked beyond its limitations and this will always hold a special place in my heart. I just wish the game ran at a faster pace.
Mmmmmm! Let's ramp this game up to 7mhz and see what happens.
