Stormlord 1989 Hewson.
A gothic spectacular action platformer from Raff Cecco that still looks incredible today. You’re the hulking Stormlord, stomping through haunted forests to rescue kidnapped fairies from the Queen of Darkness. The game throws big beautifully animated sprites at you, skeletons, dragons, flying nasties and of course nipples. Gameplay is simple but addictive, run, jump, throw lightning attacks and some clever puzzle solving too.
The difficulty can ramp up and be unfair at times which can lead to frustration.
Nevertheless, this is a wonderful looking game and has plenty of action and atmosphere, another smash from Raff which successfully rides on the coattails of Exolon and Cybernoid.
