Destructo (aka Dr Destructo / The Island of Dr Destructo) is a solid little 1987 budget shoot-'em-up from Mastertronic's Bulldog label.
Pilot your jet on a mission to blast your way through 21 levels of enemy ships, planes, and eventually Dr. Destructo's island hideout, all within a tight seven-day limit. The gameplay is simple and addictive, fly, dodge, and shoot enemy fighters so they crash land on Dr. Destructo's ship.
It can feel a bit repetitive but thankfully the difficulty ramps up sharply and will keep you entertained.
