Tennessee Route 690 forms a short but strategically important connector around the outskirts of Union City, linking two points along U.S. Route 51 while also serving as a designated segment of the future Interstate 69 corridor. Beginning north of town, the route departs US-51 and quickly transitions into a rural bypass environment, reflecting both its current function as a local connector and its long-term role as part of a major north–south interstate route stretching across multiple states. The roadway already hints at this future designation with its controlled alignment, wider right-of-way, and infrastructure designed to accommodate higher-capacity travel.
As the drive continues south, TN-690 moves through the agricultural landscape typical of northwest Tennessee. Flat terrain dominates, with expansive farmland, irrigation channels, and scattered farm structures lining the corridor. Despite its relatively quiet traffic levels today, the route’s geometry and layout suggest a forward-looking design—positioned to eventually handle significantly higher volumes once fully integrated into the Interstate 69 system. Interstate 44 slices across the heart of Oklahoma City as one of its major arterial freeways, linking key districts and interchanges while serving both local and through traffic. This particular westbound stretch begins at the junction with Interstate 35, a critical north-south corridor that brings together regional traffic from Texas and Kansas. Almost immediately, I-44 becomes a fast-moving, multi-lane freeway that skirts the north side of the city, offering drivers a direct route toward the northwest suburbs and beyond.
As the video moves westward, the route passes near the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds and provides access to several major cross streets and surrounding neighborhoods. Motorists will pass NE 36th Street, MLK Avenue, and other key connectors as the highway weaves through a mix of industrial corridors and older residential districts. While not traditionally scenic, this portion of I-44 is functionally significant—handling commuter traffic, freight movement, and serving as a bypass of downtown Oklahoma City for those continuing toward Lawton or Amarillo.

Watch as we Drive Americas Highways for 37 miles east along U.S. Highway 64 from Conway to Beebe, Arkansas.
The video begins as we turn onto U.S. Route 64 from Arkansas Highway 25 in northwest Conway. Initially driving east on the Old Morrilton Highway, we Just past the intersection with Old AR-25, we turn southeast onto Donaghey Avenue, where US-64 continues.
Now on Donaghey Ave, we continue southeast for about two blocks before reaching the intersection with Harkrider Street (US-65 Business), where we turn south on the now conjoined route to pass through Hendrix College and enter downtown Conway.
In downtown Conway, Route 64 turns east once again on Oak Street. Passing the Interstate 40 interchange, the route continues east through suburban shopping sprawl before leaving town a short time later. During this segment, our camera decided to have an issue and abruptly stopped recording for about 1/8th of a mile.
Continuing east, we reach the intersection with AR-36 to the west of Vilonia. Staying on US-64, the route dips south to bypass Vilonia and Beryl as a 4-lane divided expressway. Crossing the intersection with AR-107, we continue along highway 64, rejoining the original highway to the east of Vilonia.
Leaving Faulkner county, we enter White County just west of El Paso, where we intersect Arkansas Highway 5 at a signaled intersection. Staying east on US-64, we leave El Paso, and with the exception of 2 S curves along the way maintain an almost due-easterly direction for the remainder of the video.
After the second S curve, we enter the town of Beebe where we continue into town to the interchange with Interstate 57 where we end the video of US-64 from Conway to Beebe as the highway turns north with I-57 and we continue onto AR-365

Travel the full length of Oklahoma Highway 351 along the Muskogee Turnpike, a tolled expressway connecting the eastern Tulsa metro to Interstate 40 near Webbers Falls. Beginning at OK-51 in Broken Arrow, this controlled-access route offers a fast, direct alternative for drivers heading southeast across the state. Operated by the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, the Muskogee Turnpike serves as a key corridor for both commuter and long-distance traffic.
Heading south, the turnpike bypasses the towns of Coweta and Porter before skirting the western edge of Muskogee. Multiple interchanges provide access into Muskogee itself, one of the larger population centers in the region. The landscape along the route alternates between wooded stretches, gentle hills, and open fields — a quintessential snapshot of east-central Oklahoma.
The route continues uninterrupted until it reaches its southern terminus at Interstate 40, just west of Webbers Falls. This junction offers vital east-west access for travelers heading toward Fort Smith, Little Rock, or Oklahoma City. With generally lighter traffic than other turnpikes in the state, Oklahoma 351 provides a smooth and efficient drive across a scenic and often overlooked part of the state.

🚙 Drive Americas Highways for 30 miles east along Arkansas Route 66 from Leslie to Mountain View, Arkansas
The segment of Arkansas Highway 66 from Leslie to Mountain View begins at the intersection with U.S. Route 65 in Leslie. Making its way generally northeast, the highway leaves Leslie and winds its way through the Ozark highlands towards Oxley, where it turns more northerly to intersect AR-74 near Alco.
Turning briefly to the southeast towards Timbo, AR-66 intersects AR-263 south before turning more easterly at Timbo. Continuing east, the highway soon enters Mountain View as Main Street, intersecting AR-87 before terminating at the intersection with Arkansas Highway 9 in downtown where the segment of highway 66 from Leslie to Mountain View ends.
