🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 1 mile north along 4th Street from Gratiot Street to Convention Plaza and Broadway, Missouri — through the heart of downtown St. Louis.
Travel north on 4th Street through downtown St. Louis, Missouri, beginning near Gratiot Street and continuing toward Convention Plaza and Broadway. This short urban drive follows one of the key northbound streets through the central business district, offering a compact look at downtown St. Louis street-level traffic, city blocks, signalized intersections, hotels, parking structures, office buildings, and pedestrian activity. Although the route covers only about one mile, it passes through a dense and historically important part of the city, where local streets connect the riverfront, entertainment districts, convention facilities, and major downtown corridors.
The video begins near the southern side of downtown, where 4th Street runs close to the area around Busch Stadium, the riverfront, and several major connections leading toward Interstate 44, Interstate 55, and the Poplar Street Bridge corridor. From there, the route continues north through the urban grid, with views of downtown architecture, cross streets, and the built-up environment that defines the center of St. Louis. This section of 4th Street carries local traffic through a busy part of the city, serving as a practical connector between downtown destinations rather than a high-speed through route.

🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 121 miles west along the Ohio Turnpike — following Interstate 80, and later the combined Interstate 80/90 — from Hudson, near Akron, all the way to Toledo, Ohio.
The drive begins at the interchange with Ohio State Route 8 in Hudson, just north of Akron. Heading west, the route skirts the edges of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, offering glimpses of wooded terrain and rolling landscapes before reaching the interchange with Interstate 77. From here, the turnpike arcs northwest, soon meeting Interstate 71 and U.S. Highway 42 as it presses into the flatter stretches of northern Ohio. Continuing west, the road connects with Interstate 480 and curves near Elyria, where it merges with Interstate 90 just beyond State Route 57.
Once joined with I-90, the Ohio Turnpike leaves the Cleveland suburbs behind and takes on a more open, rural character. The route crosses key interchanges with U.S. Highway 250 and Ohio Route 4, running just south of Sandusky and the Lake Erie shoreline. West of here, the turnpike angles toward Toledo, threading through north-central Ohio’s farmland and passing near Fremont. As Toledo approaches, the highway meets Interstate 280 before continuing northwest to intersect Interstate 75. The journey closes after crossing the Maumee River, ending at the interchange with U.S. Highway 20 on the west side of the city.
As with much of the Ohio Turnpike, this stretch is marked by its toll system and a series of service plazas. The toll plazas provide access points and exits across northern Ohio, while the service plazas — located at regular intervals — offer travelers fuel, food, restrooms, and even convenience shopping without leaving the turnpike. These features make the Ohio Turnpike not only a critical transportation corridor but also a self-contained travel experience, balancing long-distance efficiency with modern amenities.

🚙 Drive America’s Highways for 33 miles west along U.S. Highway 412 from Kennett, Missouri to Paragould, Arkansas — crossing the Missouri Bootheel into the Arkansas Delta.
The segment of U.S. Route 412 from Kennett to Paragould begins at the junction with Missouri Route 84 in Kennett. Traveling southwest, the highway makes its way through the southern part of town before curving around a roundabout at Supplemental Route VV and heading toward Senath. Instead of going directly through Senath, the route swings south and west, forming a bypass that skirts the edge of town. Continuing southwest, US-412 soon approaches the junction with Missouri Route 108 before threading its way between the communities of Arbyrd and Cardwell. At Cardwell, the route briefly bends west, passing just south of the community before turning northeast toward the Arkansas border. Crossing the St. Francis River, US-412 leaves Missouri behind and enters Arkansas.
Once in Arkansas, the highway passes the southern terminus of AR-139 before resuming its westward course. About four miles later, US-412 enters Paragould, where the corridor is flanked by agriculture-related industry and local businesses. At the eastern edge of the city, the highway splits, with US-412 forming a southern bypass while US-412B continues straight into downtown. Staying on US-412B, the drive heads west through Paragould, crossing the intersection with Arkansas Highway 69 before approaching the town’s central crossroads at U.S. Route 49. The journey concludes here, right at the heart of Paragould, as the video ends at the traffic light on Main Street.
This stretch of US-412 highlights the transition from Missouri’s Bootheel farmland into the Arkansas Delta, offering a glimpse at the agricultural landscapes, small-town bypasses, and industrial edges that shape life in the region.

Interstate 40 (I-40), also known as the Needles Freeway in this section, traverses 155 miles (249 km) through the eastern Mojave Desert in San Bernardino County, California, connecting the cities of Needles and Barstow. This stretch offers a starkly beautiful landscape of arid plains, rugged mountain ranges, and historical remnants.
Leaving the Colorado River at Needles, I-40 heads northwest, paralleling the California-Arizona border. The initial miles unfold amidst flat desert scrubland, dotted with Joshua trees and creosote bushes. The Whipple Mountains rise to the south, their rocky slopes tinged with hues of rust and ochre. At milepost 132, the highway intersects U.S. Route 95, providing access to Las Vegas, Nevada, and points north.
