Jun may have appeared in Tekken 3 despite the game suggesting her passing at the hands of Ogre... but apparently Tekken producer Harada said that she is still alive and that her whereabouts are unknown (no pun intended) regarding the story.

As an unused "character", there is obviously some unorthodox factors about her, such as follows:
---- She seems to be placeholder data in the slot, having been possibly removed prior in development.
---- On the character select and versus screens, she uses a unique portrait image of herself. The image is in Tekken 2 art style.
---- In a 1P game at least, if you get a high ranking and need to enter your name after the game is over, the screen is wrong where you cannot see the top.

Mr. Big is the main end boss of the game, and he is also a regular playable character in it.

ABOUT MR. BIG
He is a rather unique character because his gangster boss aesthetics is unusually paired with the fighting style Eskrima, which is a Filipino martial art that involves the use of Baston sticks that are made from rattan, a type of stem from South East Asian vine.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION & TRIVIA
He is able to jump and crouch in AOF2. He couldnt in the prequel.
When starting a single-player game, after the player selects a character, Mr. Big is not available to be selected for the next opposition as he is the main end boss of the game.
In gameplay, he cannot kick.
He made his debut into the KOF franchise in KOF96.
In AOF1, he had a special move that was very similar to Vegas Rolling Crystal Flash from Street Fighter which you could see the CPU Mr. Big perform often. The player commands for this move was never found. This means that the move may not even be accessible by a human player at all. In AOF2, he doesnt have this move anymore.
Before his appearance into KOF, he was voiced only in English, meaning that he does not say anything in Japanese.

ABOUT BALROG
Probably the most famous fighting game boxer (in a non-boxing-focused game of course)... back in SFII:WW he was clearly designed to reference Mike Tyson, and the chance of a potential lawsuit from him is the reason on why Capcom USA switched around the names of 3 of the bosses.
In comparison to his WW, CE and HF appearances, the SSFII version of him gained a load of new animation/normals for his crouching and jumping attacks, making him a more rounded-out and flexible character. A new special move is also added in the form of the Buffalo Headbutt, which is a great anti-air with invincibility properties at start-up that allows him to escape/dodge projectiles. For SSFIIX/SSFIIT, he gains two new low dash punches, as well as a Super Combo.
Its also interesting on how his new SSFII/SSFIIX in-gameplay animations/spritework kind of doesnt match his old spritework.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION / TRIVIA
Being the 1st boss, hell always appear as the 9th opponent when the player plays through single player mode.
Being a set boss character in single-player mode, you get to have a mirror match against him if you select him as your character to play as.
When Balrog is controlled by the CPU, his Turn Punch is slightly different when the CPU does it.
The bosses and E.Honda are the only characters who do not have a unique backwards walking animation in the SF2 series.
He is known as M.Bison in Japan.
To determine him, fighting game players refer to him as boxer.
Capcom have implied that Mike from SF1 is not him.
In the SNES and Genesis ports of the game, in his ending sequence, the two ladies are not in the second picture where he is sitting with the bags of cash.
In the SNES port of the game, in his ending sequence, it does not have the first picture where he has his arm in the air.

HOW TO UNLOCK/SELECT CLASSIC SUB-ZERO
There are two methods to do this:
- METHOD 1: THE ? OPTIONS SCREEN
1) On the title screen (with the purple skeletons), input the following:
C, R, A, Z, Y, C, Y, R, A, X (the R is the Right Shoulder button)
If youve done it correctly, you hear Shao Kahn laugh again upon the last button press.
2) Now on the menu screen, highlight Kombat, press Up and the hidden ? options will appear. In this options screen, you can enable/unlock Classic Sub-Zero, as well the other two hidden characters.
- METHOD 2: THE ULTIMATE KOMBAT KODE
Classic Sub-Zeros Ultimate Kombat Kode is 760-520.
In any instance when its Game Over, youll get a chance to enter an Ultimate Kombat Kode. Therefore when this screen appears, press the following:
HP x 7, BLOCK x 6, LP x 5, RUN x 2
If youve done it correctly, after the timer runs down, youll get a confirmation screen that states that Classic Sub-Zero is unlocked. On the character select screen he appears in place of the previous right dragon panel on the grid.

If youve done it correctly youll hear Ryus voice and his portrait colours will change into his original ones.

OLD/SSFII RYU DIFFERENCES
As this is the old SSFII version of him, it means that he does not have the Super Combo gauge, which of course means that he does not have the Super Fireball.
Regarding Normals, he doesnt have the Overhead Punch and Charging Punch command normals. He also doesnt have the jumping forwards/backwards air uppercut, which means that he loses those juggling abilities as a result.
RYU STORY IN STREET FIGHTER II
A student of Shotokan Karate, he has developed into a pure warrior. He has devoted his entire life to the perfection of his fighting skills and has forsaken everything else in his life. Ryu has no home, no friends and no family. Instead, he wanders the globe seeking to test his skills against other fighters.
OTHER INFORMATION / TRIVIA
Old Ryu has two colour palettes. The first is the original World Warrior colours; and the second are unique colours that is specially made for Old Ryu.
The second unique colour palette is made specially for SSFIIX/SSF2T.
There is no instance in the game where the CPU is in control of Old Ryu.
Ryu has been a playable character in every Street Fighter game up to this time of writing (Street Fighter 6).
In the Street Fighter II series, he is one of six characters whose stage background doesnt have an audience.
Storyline-wise, he is one of only two characters to deal a defeat to M. Bison in a one-on-one fight.

HOW TO UNLOCK HAN MYONG
There are 2 ways to do this:
- METHOD 1
1) First, unlock Soul Edge by beating the game with all the starting regular characters.
2) Now beat the game again with Hwang, and then again with Seung Mina.
If you have done it correctly, then on the character select screen, on the row, Han Myong will be off the screen to the left/right.
- METHOD 2
1) Unlock Soul Edge by allowing logging at least 20 hours of game time.
2) Now beat the game with Hwang, and then again with Seung Mina.
If you have done it correctly, then on the character select screen, on the row, Han Myong will be off the screen to the left/right.
WHO IS HAN MYONG
Seung Han-Myong is the master of a martial arts dojo in Korea, and he is the father of Seung Mina. Hwang is his student.
HAN MYONG TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- He uses Hwangs moveset, plus some extra moves.
- On the character select screen, his large portrait is the generic hidden character ? image.
- His icon is the generic hidden character ? image.
- His VS character select screen icon is the generic hidden character ? image.
- The games announcer calls him Guest Fighter.
- He has his own unique voice.
- If you beat the game with him, he has no ending. It goes straight to the credits.
- He cannot appear in the name entry screen nor can he appear in any rankings tables.
- He only has the one costume and colour palette we see in the video. Therefore if both sides play as Han Myong, they will be aesthetically identical.
- He does not have any extra weapons.
- He can only be fought against as a CPU opponent in Hwangs story in Edge Master mode, as the second battle of the book.
- If you select him in Edge Master mode, it will freeze the game, which you see starting around 21:53 in the video.
- In Edge Master mode, on the character select screen, his weapon name on the list is glitched. You can see this starting around 21:53 in the video.
HAN MYONG TRIVIA
- In Soul Edge/Blade, he uses the same fighting style as Hwang. Ironically in Soul Calibur 6, he uses Mitsurugis fighting style.
- In Soul Calibur 6, he is a custom character. Despite this, his face and hair are unique to him. Both his face and hair are unavailable to the player when creating/editing a custom character.

ABOUT PS1 SOUL EDGE/BLADE
The PS1 version of the game is one of the all-time greats on the console, and is one of the best conversion/port of an arcade game for its time. Aside from the loading times (which are very short anyway) its virtually arcade perfect. It helped that the arcade original ran on hardware that was already based on the PS1 hardware.
The PS1 version has tons of features that are not found in the arcade original. For example, the port has 2 extra remixed soundtracks, new character costumes, new weapons, cinematic endings for the characters, the superb Edge Master Mode and more.")

Mokujin is a hidden character in the game. He is a time-release unlockable playable character.
MOKUJIN TIME RELEASE
From the games first power on, Mokujin will be selectable in 84 days. His Coming Soon screen prior is supposedly on 74 days.
MOKUJIN BLOCKING SOUND EFFECTS
When playing as Mokujin, hold Down before a match or Round starts. He will now have wooden block sounds when he blocks attacks. The sound effect expires after each Round so you need to hold Down before the next Round starts to get it.
MOKUJIN STORY
He is a wooden training dummy, made from a 2000-year oak tree. He was originally placed in a museum for a long time, until he became alive and gained self-identity and awareness as a result of the God of Fighting awakening. It is speculated that he wants to help martial artists.
MOKUJIN GAMEPLAY
Mokujin is a random character, meaning that he doesnt actually have a fighting style of his own. Instead, he copies or mimics the fighting styles of the other characters (one per round), thus having the moveset of the character he is mimicking.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION / TRIVIA
Mokujin is the first random character for the Tekken franchise.
His fighting style is called Mokujin-ken, or Wooden Person Fist.
His fighting style can also be known as Mimicry.
On his gameplay model, the kanji 正 is written repeatedly on his back.
His second costume is a female version of him.
He is based on the movie Shaolin Wooden men, starring Jackie Chan. He even shares a winning pose with Lei Wulong in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, which the pose is likely a reference to the movie.

GOENITZ IN KOF98UM
He has many new animations/sprites which means that he has new Normals when compared to his KOF96 counterpart. Many of these new animations/sprites come from SvC Chaos.
GAMEPLAY
His gameplay generally remains the same as in KOF96 (if you managed to play as him in that), but the significant change is that he has been given a new special move called the Shin Kototsuki Souga which is a dashing grab. Other changes include his Cutting Blades which act as a catch on contact (meaning all the subsequent other cuts hit), rather than a push-away like in KOF96. He is also able to use his Wind Pillars to hit downed/fallen opponents in certain situations as well.
He no longer has the ability to use DMs without the super gauge.
OTHER INFORMATION
Despite being an unplayable character, he has multiple alternate colour palettes.
As he is a non-selectable character, his icon does not appear on the character select screen roster grid.
Despite being a non-selectable character, his icon and name appears perfectly in the Ranking screens. Its the same one as in the original KOF98.
He does not seem to be part of any special Teams.
He has a special pre-fight intro when facing Orochi and Omega Rugal.

This is basically a remake of KOF98 which features all the characters in the series from KOF94 to KOF97. As well as new artwork for the new (and some old) characters, it also has new/old stage backgrounds and new or extra music for certain events. The most significant feature is probably the addition of Goenitz and Orochi as possible final bosses. Changes are also made to the gameplay and mechanics obviously.")

Old/SSFII Sagat is a another version of the regular Sagat. He is a hidden playable character.
NOTE: 1 Continue used deliberately to avoid CPU Akuma at the end.
HOW TO SELECT OLD/SSFII SAGAT
On the character select screen, select Sagat with any button, and immediately input Up, Down, Down, Up and then press LP or LP + LK.
If youve done it correctly youll hear Sagats voice and his portrait colours will change into his original ones.

OLD/SSFII SAGAT DIFFERENCES
As this is the old SSFII version of him, it means that he does not the Super Combo gauge, which of course means that he does not have the Tiger Gen0cide.
Regarding other differences, one of these is that he doesnt have the multiple hitting parts of his HP Tiger Uppercut. Another difference is having faster recovery from his Tiger Shots... making this the better version of him in the game.
ABOUT SAGAT
Famous Muay Thai fighter who got defeated by Ryu in SF1 and has been pretty mad ever since. Works for M.Bison and is one of the main antagonists of Ryu. Also has a blatant disregard for height genetics, and his eye-patch switches to his other eye every time he turns around in the 2D Street Fighter games.
OTHER INFORMATION
Old Sagat has two colour palettes. The first is the original World Warrior colours; and the second is a unique colour that is specially made for Old Sagat.
The second unique colour palette is made specially for SSFIIX/SSF2T.
There is no instance in the game where the CPU is in control of Old Sagat.
Being the 3rd boss, hell always appear as the 11th opponent when the player plays through single player mode.
Being a set boss character in Arcade Mode, you get to have a mirror match against him if you select him as your character to play as.
The bosses and E.Honda are the only characters who do not have a unique backwards walking animation in the SFII series.
As mentioned earlier, in gameplay his eyepatch switches to the other eye when he switches sides. This is due to the functionality of 2D sprite management (unless another complete set of unique sprites are created with his eyepatch on his other eye for facing one way).
He is the only SFII boss who did not get his name switched outside of Japan.

Balrog is the 1st of 4 bosses in this game, and he is a regular playable character.
NOTE: Continues used in this playthrough, some losses cut out to save time and to keep file sizes low.
ABOUT BALROG
Probably the most famous fighting game boxer (in a non-boxing-focused game of course)... back in SFII:WW he was clearly designed to reference Mike Tyson, and the chance of a potential lawsuit from him is the reason on why Capcom USA switched around the names of 3 of the bosses.
In comparison to his WW, CE and HF appearances, he gained a load of new animation/normals for his crouching and jumping attacks, making him a more rounded-out and flexible character. A new special move is also added in the form of the Buffalo Headbutt, which is a great anti-air with invincibility properties at start-up that allows him to escape/dodge projectiles.
Its also interesting on how his new SSFII in-gameplay animations/spritework kind of doesnt match his old spritework.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION / TRIVIA
Being the 1st boss, hell always appear as the 9th opponent when the player plays through single player mode.
Being a set boss character in single-player mode, you get to have a mirror match against him if you select him as your character to play as.
If the player plays through the game as Balrog in his default colour palette (Jab), when you reach CPU Balrog, the CPU Balrog will use the second (Strong/CE) colour instead. This means that there is no instance where the CPU Balrog can use any other colour palette besides the Default (WW) and Strong (CE) colours.
When Balrog is controlled by the CPU, his Turn Punch is slightly different when the CPU does it.
The bosses and E.Honda are the only characters who do not have a unique backwards walking animation in the SF2 series.
He is known as M.Bison in Japan.
To determine him, fighting game players refer to him as boxer.
Capcom have implied that Mike from SF1 is not him.
In the SNES and Genesis ports of the game, in his ending sequence, the two ladies are not in the second picture where he is sitting with the bags of cash.
In the SNES port of the game, in his ending sequence, it does not have the first picture where he has his arm in the air.

ABOUT ARCADE SSFII
As the previous games World Warrior, Champion Edition and Hyper Fighting ran on the CPS-1 hardware with the same base, SSFII was the first proper rebuild or refresh of the game, running on the CPS-II hardware. Almost everything besides the gameplay character sprites has been redrawn, and the character portrait and icon images are completely new. Many of the ending images are also new and/or have been redrawn. The bosses receive proper endings. The superior sound hardware is evident in the new music, voices and sound effects (although some may prefer the previous three games sounds of course).
The most significant new feature is the addition of the four new characters Cammy, Feilong, Deejay and T.Hawk, which of course also brings along four new stages/backgrounds and BGMs.
The gameplay speed reverts back to the CE-esque speed after the fast pace of the previous game Hyper Fighting. This resulted in some complaints of SSF2 being too slow, in which the next game in the series rectified.

Shuko is the last boss of the game, and he is an unplayable character in the Neo Geo MVS version of it.
HOW TO SELECT SHUKO IN THE HOME AES VERSION
On the character select screen, highlight the following characters in the order below:
Billy for 3 seconds, Marian for 3 seconds, Cheng Fu for 3 seconds, Jimmy for 3 seconds
If youve done it correctly, youre hear Marian say Bingo, and Duke and Shukos icons will appear on the top row of the grid.
Remember, this only works on the home AES version of the game.

BOSS PROPERTIES
Boss Properties (as I call it) defines moves that tend to be very powerful, fast, have high priority or just very unusual. It can also describe the way moves are executed, such as via unorthodox/unusual command inputs (when compared to the regular characters). Shuko has some of these for sure, some of which include:
- Multiple fireball ability. He is able to do fireballs quickly one after each other.
- His Slicer super move comes out fast and if it hits the opponent, follows through for multiple hits with the projectile lasting.
- His Head Stomp involves him teleporting to home in onto the opponent. Its quite fast.
- His Lightening strike comes out fast, covers the entire vertical screen and does high damage.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- Despite being a non-selectable character in this version of the game, he appears perfectly on the score rankings screen. You can see this at 33:08 in the video.
- If you beat single-player mode with him, he has no ending.
ABOUT SHUKO
Koga Shuko is a martial arts master and wants to have complete control over all of the street gangs of New Angeles. He seeks to obtain the fabled Double Dragon medallion, a mystical amulet said to grant great power to those who possess it.
PERSONAL NOTES
He has attire that look like pajamas. When moving back or forward, he is one of those levitating-deity-like boss designs who does not need to walk or run.
TRIVIA
- He is of course, based on the main bad guy from the 1994 Double Dragon movie.
- He was formerly known as Victor Guisman.
- His Shadow Attack super move, has him turn into a shadow, go under his opponent and then unleash a flurry of attacks. This is identical to a move used by the Double Illusion in Double Dragon II: The Revenge.
- In the Staff/credits of the game, at the part where the characters intro portrait images scroll across, you get to see Duke and Shukos artwork of this style starting around 32:27 in the video. Their portraits do not appear in the intro.
