A cover that mixes both the 'Day' and 'Night' themes of "Tantal" from the game Xenoblade Chronicles 2.
This theme, as well as my previous cover of Torigoth, is one of my favourite area themes in the entire game! I've always loved snow areas and snow themes in games and this is no exception, and bonus points as this is one of the few snow themes that don't use sleigh bells in the music, as far as I'm aware!
Similar with Torigoth, I love both day and night themes of this area, however I wanted to arrange it such that is starts and ends with the day theme with the night theme in the middle, as opposed to my Torigoth cover which did the opposite. The arrangement was a fairly quick and easy process, since it's quite a long track I simply followed the original closely, adding in my own riffs and style in there that work with the original chord progressions. The parts themselves were also quite easy to play, as the melodies aren't too fast and I didn't want to over complicate the riffs, to keep the same feel of the original.
Unfortunately, I've been very busy this week as of the time of recording, and didn't have a lot of time to make this cover. Because I had to pretty much do everything in about 2 days in total, I had to make a few compromises, especially in terms of the mix. Hopefully though, it still turned out good enough and enjoyable for you!
